CHANGE HAS COME TO AMERICA

I win, Grandma!

For the first time in history, Americans prove that they overlook differences and see ability. Barack Obama has officially won the presidential election and will be America’s first and ever African-American president.

” I know mygrandmother is watching, along with my family who made me who I am today.” The crowd cheered with tears and laughter , African Americans especially. ” I can never forget who this victory belongs to, YOU. America, this is your vicory!”. For so long John F.Kennedy’s shadow has overwhelmed America. For too long, the world has long for a charismatic, rhetoric and a 21st centruy leader. 48 year old and the youngest president ever ,Barack Obama is the man for the job.

When the polls showed that Obama has achieved 210 electoral vote, large crowds which gathered around the central Chicago waved the American flag and cheered “USA ! USA !”. WHen I arrive home from school, I was just in time for Obama’s victory speech. Eventhough I’m not an AMerican citizen, somehow I felt extraordinarily proud of America. Their freedom and their hope for change has earned my envy indeed.

Again I see, America has chose hope over fear .  ” When our harbour was destroyed, America stood up and restore democracy and liberty” Barack said. I always love his speech .It motivates me . ” Lincoln once said, this is not a country of differences but of brothers and sisters.”

Now, AMerica will turn a new chapter and write a new history. Today  , November 5th is a touching moment for us all , giving HOPE to people, to children , to the old, young , gay, straight and every single American . ” For those voters which I have yet to earn your trust, I hear you and I will be your president too” . For those who had doubt America’s democracy ,and question its liberty, today in America is your answer.

” For those who wish to tear this world apart, we will defeat you, for those who wish to save this world and restore peace, we will support you!”

So, people , Barack Obama will be the 44th president of the United States of America !
